Rogbar will look over at Aibne (who is in the Moonlight Sonata thread at this moment), and sigh. "My friend needs me, but I am not sure what to do. Jiga, why don't we check out the maze first? It might help clear my head." he will offer. Bowing lightly to the others. "Forgive me. I am not myself tonight." He will produce two roses* and offer them to Asai and Ninear**, "If you will pardon the rudeness of my departure..." Before limping off with Joga, hopefully, and finally testing the flight spell.

Caelund offers a polite bow to the departing couple, watching them leave for a moment before returning his attention to the pilose librarian.
"Lady Asai? As the situation seems to be shortly severed, should you support the suggestion I would deign to digress and discuss a desirable deal."

He pauses a moment, apparently giving pause for any outright rejection. If none precipitates, he continues with a brief explanation while rearranging his platter:
"I am engaged in the employ of an enterprise which may effect an enhancement to your efforts to educate and enumerate engraved editions. If such a future seems favorable, I shall further flesh out the form and foundation."

Asai dips a shallow bow over her quenched pastry (without getting anything on her fur, no less) and accepts the rose. She sniff at it and then delicately alternates nibbles of pastry and flower*. Without any obvious motions or concentration (both ears do twitch to follow Rogbar as he limps away, but that is only notable in both being focused at the same target and likely not the triggering action) she tweaks the flight spell to be ever so slightly more forgiving in its responses to Rogbar**. Glancing up at Caelund, she will quip, "As long as it does not ask of me abnormal amounts of alliteration, I believe I may be amenable."

(*Her species may be her home shadow's house cat analogue, but from a dietary perspective it's got a lot more in common with canines or hyenas.)
(**Just enough to help, but little enough so that if he notices she can brush it off as thanks for the rose hopefully without offending his pride.)

He waits a moment with due courtesies and leads the way on a less populated route through the garden paths.
