There are some things that are well beyond the ability of warfare and simply go into stuff. For example, it is relatively easy to overlook the obvious use a goblin will make with a streamer-dart.
Blitz and Grim will thank Alys, and make quick but polite and slightly reverent small-talk.
At the last joust, Blitz will decide to award his streamer to the bugbear for defending the joust. He will go to toss the dart at the bugbear.

Re: 07.09d: Pecking Order
Alys had been starting to walk back to Cameron - but when the gnome winds up to throw, she's back in time to snatch the streamer out of mid-air - and then holds it back out to Blitz. "I would advise," she comments dryly, "That throwing this at Sorog* is more likely to be perceived as intending violence than reward; perhaps handing it to him would work better?"
Regardless of response, she'll head back to talk to Cameron - though again, she's moving; this time towards Kizak and Ashara.**

Cameron gets a quirk of a grin as he watches Blitz wind up to throw the dart - it is the obvious approach to such a gift, yes? He gives in and actually chuckles as Alys intercepts, noting her skills in catching the dart in mid-throw. He's still wrapped up in seeing the chastened pair to realize Alys has moved on, and turns to follow.
