University of Atlantean Thaumaturgy
Atlantis exists within the realm of magic. It refers to a federation of mage-run kingdoms bound under the oversight of the Animus Council.
The University of Atlantean Thaumaturgy is the largest and oldest institution of magic study in Atlantis. It’s methods are somewhat unorthodox, and it is the only school to actively recruit new mages from the mundane world.
The academic year starts out with a semester system, including an intersession in January, and a Summer semester. New students from the mundane world are encouraged to attend a pre-semester over the Summer to prepare them for taking the entry level magic courses with the more traditional students.
