"Yes, I'd imagine.... oh sorry. *yawn*" Francis looks up from his notepad. "I am Francis of Samskra, inventor. My display is only two more stalls down, so i was just wandering about. Feel free to watch one of my demonstrations, if you have time. Oh, and I guess I don't need assistance anymore, I was just admiring your inventions."

After waiting a minute, Francis drifts back over to Theodore, "Now, you said it was time for a test?" (quickly checking that his weapons are ready, just in case.)

Theodore nods, and thinks, marking chalk symbols for "Helper", "Water" and "Friendly" as well as a half dozen describing Wahi-samskra itself as the origin. "Okay... Stand back..." He incants words in some forgotten language, and suddenly the chalk figures around the circle flare and lift off the ground... Floating they race towards the center where the swirl around until a small water creature emerges... It appears made of water, winged and about two feet tall.

Francis is notably impressed. Verbally, he adds "Well, there's something you don't see too often. I guess I'll have to agree with it being magic, (for now). And now, I think I'll take a break."

With that, Francis floats back to the middle of his booth, with every intention of taking a nap. ZZzzzzzz.

Theodore hopes the lightning vendor doesn't electrocute his new friend for napping, and walks over to Silas' display with the water helper... "So, good to see you found this, I heard there was a lot of sabotage here. I was wondering where you got your sign... the one I'm trying to enchant keeps... well, It keeps vanishing." He'll pause, "Oh, and if my elemental can help at all, let me know. It is water, so I'd avoid letting it touch live conductors."

Eleree will wonder over leaving some space between herself and the water elemental. I overheard your problems with the lifting wall. Energy happens to be my specialty. These Bottles are made to block energy and some to ground it. If you need something to help we may be able to grind up pieces of them and build your regulator. Um, Nice Elemental*

*looking very nervous.

Silas looks slightly confused. "I had Gadget build a sign since I was told not to expect anything durable in the stall when I arrived. And I'm less worried about sabotage this year... The lifting wall is mostly granite, which is pretty hard to screw up. Most of the actual devices have to be buried quite a distance before any significant effect occurs. And the calibration is mostly guesswork anyway." He looks around. "Should I be admitting that?"

He turns to Eleree. "The lifting field is not a standard electromagnetic field. I believe it's a unifying force between geomagnetic and geogravitational fields, which I'm tenatively calling the 'Tulthin effect'. I'm fairly sure a bottle isn't how the original worked..." Despite his words, he is examining the the bottle quite closely.

"You have a point and it may take longer than you have here, but geomantic and gravitational fields are still energy. the bottles stop or ground the flow of energy. While these may not work on the types of energy you are dealing with I may be able to help you fix the regulator if needed. It beats being bored selling stuff that isn't need right now."

"Well, I could power up the wall and we could see how the bottles affect the fields. Although I'd be a little worried if they could contain it, as I'm not sure what that would do..." Silas looks up into the sky for a moment. "Although there is nothing above us, so it's probably safe." He smiles, not entirely reassuringly.

A trio of guards, dressed in the green and brass of Oberon's troops, march up. "Theodore Equifals? The Captain would like to have a word with you, please..."

Two of them escort Equifals towards the Nonsuch's bridge; the third remains behind to set up a sign in Theodore's square reading "Temporarily disqualified; please check back later."

With the commotion, Francis awakens.

Floating over to Theodore's now-vacant booth, Francis shakes his head and says "Oh, well that's a pity"

Shortly afterwards, one of his small clanks starts jumping up and down excitedly on his carpet, emitting a small clicking noise. After it has gotten the attention of its creator, it settles down once again.

Francis squints into the distance (Where the patchwork turbine happens to be), and mutters "Wow. That's interesting." With that, he floats off at a brisk speed (before the carpet had been moving at the speed of a leasurely stroll.)
