A week's travel north, and then several weeks travel east from Dornsby will take you to the edges of the Empire of Tavinoy. This relatively new power is known for its use of a small fleet of second age airships to enforce its rule - and also for its strict regulation of magic within its borders. For the public good, of course. There are some exceptions, though. A number of religious orders have negotiated for greater rights - most notably, clerics of Coyote; apparently the god himself showed up and threatened to declare "open season" on the entire empire for all of his followers. |
