In the midst of the early morning bustle of the docks, a burst of colorful sparks appears and reveals Harrune. He is looking much more rested and cheerful than when we left the night before. He is accompanied by three other Cani: a female (who resembles as greyhound), and two males (golden retriever and doberman). The newcomers quickly begin to rub their noses. Harrune smiles. "Welcome to Amber. I had forgotten how overwhelming the smell here can be. You will get used to it in time." Harrune sniffs. "I see what they mean about the harbor. We'll definitely have to address that."
Krae (the doberman) speaks in a voice tinged with awe, "I know you told us what to expect, but the words don't do it justice. Its all so strange. That must be the harbor...and that, is that the Castle you spoke of?"
"Yes, that's Castle Amber. We'll have to get you there for a visit...Thiane! Are you alright?"
Thiane is staring at the sky. She whispers, "The sky. Its so empty. No gods. No moon. No Fencers. Even the sun looks so odd."
Harrune puts a comforting arm around her. "I know. Amber is a place of wonders, but the sky is so bland. Sadly it's like that in most of the shadows that I've visited. Anyter, how are you doing?"
The retriever has a big grin on his face and his tail is wagging. "The sky may be dull, but the rest is amazing. I can't wait to get to know it all."
"For now let's get Thiane and Krae home to Cheknou and Lahrang. And no doubt Fiarel is looking forward to seeing you too. There will be plenty of time to explore later."
Harrune beings to guide them off into the city.
(OOC: Sorry for the delay folks. Real life has been kicking my butt and I've had some major writer's block. At least I've got something up again. The writer's block has really been hitting me really hard on Harrune's trip home. It was nothing monumental, but I'll put it in as a flashback scene when I can.)
