Silver Insanity

Continued from Dinner with Dragons.

Alys makes her way over to the table where Ossian and Darnell are chatting - and pauses, one hand on her intended chair, as Dworkin makes his idiosyncratic arrival. Her gaze, however, is directed towards the "Krampus" out on the balcony.

"Quite the distraction Dworkin made of himself..." she comments, before actually taking her seat.

Darnell will nod. "You have no idea. I hope when I have more power than I know what to do with, I come up with better ideas than that. Who knows? Perhaps it is because he has so much power that he's so... unique in his approach."

Ossian will welcome the two new arrivals. "Greetings. Good to see you both again. I'm glad that Rogbar has not proved to be too difficult to deal with."

Alys shrugs and adjusts the flower in her hair. "I think Rogbar got the worst of dealing with Rogbar this evening..."

To Darnell, she adds, "Perhaps... I could believe that he does this to distract himself; as a way of making sure he doesn't mis-use some of the Powers he has..."

"Or perhaps it is simply a case where we are still bound by the laws of Flatland and he is not..." A pause, and then, "Though I would have expected his outfit to be fireproofed, at least..."

"Fireproof outfits are, I find, quite practical," Alys comments.

Darnell will shrug. "If that is an outfit... Should we flag him over?"

"Probably a good idea."

Dworkin will visit when waved over, and hand out gifts to Asai, Ossian, Darnell and Alys.

Ossian will ... inscrutably frown when he opens his. (Or seethe with furious rage, depending on your psyche.)

Asai quickly flips through her cards, the only periodic change of expression being an inscrutable and indeterminate flick of an ear on a few occasions. This done, she slides them back into their bag and looks up. "So what sorts of responsibilities does a page have anyhow, Darnell?"
