Re: 002d: Lair of the Snake Person

(( I presume that, despite the lack of labeling on the building, the information we were provided includes both address and apartment number. I also presume that Ms. Ryan was, at the time of her demise, carrying keys. If either of these assumptions are false, I can re-write. )) "Unlikely, but ...

Re: 002a: The Majordomo and Ms. Ryan

Kin will, indeed, look through the files carefully and take notes. It is, by this point, abundantly clear that Ms. Ryan was not a... recent conversion, shall we say. However, I'm not coming up with anything specific to comb the records for, beyond the obvious: references, Yigdrasil charterhouse loca...

Re: 002a: The Majordomo and Ms. Ryan

Kin, by contrast, waits patiently, with only minimal small talk while Mr. Conray is gone.

Re: 002a: The Majordomo and Ms. Ryan

"Yes, thank you - we're here to see to the affairs of - and investigate - the late Ms. Ryan..." (Having just, above, written down Kin's initial questions, it seems a bit silly to repeat them. Kin will, also, explain why an open-casket funeral would be a poor idea, leading into the same qu...

Re: 002a: The Majordomo and Ms. Ryan

Kin is attending in her best attire - a red dress that (roughly) resembles a kimono; she nods in response to Augustus' question, "Yes, I do - obviously, the first cut should be the straightforward ones; where did she live, did she have a will or a family or other arrangements for the event of h...

Re: 002: In the morning

I figure it's most likely that Kin will be accompanying Lord Williamson, to speak with his majordomo and potentially move on to investigating the deceased's apartment. Who else, if anyone, is going with her - well, that's an open question.

Re: 001: An Evening at the Feng-Huang's Feathers

The consensus seems to be that Kin should stay at the tea-house; as such, she splits her time between managing the establishment, and searching the serpent-person's corpse for anything of note.* And then, when that's all done, she heads for bed. * This might be another investigate check, or this mig...

Arada Kin

Arada Kin is a charismatic young* oriental woman and current owner of the Feng-Huang's Feathers tea house. She is technically a newcomer (originally Japanese-American), though she's been in Lastfell for over a decade and (mostly) fits in. * Kin claims to be 24 - though she doesn't have an accurate s...

Re: 001: An Evening at the Feng-Huang's Feathers

"Worthwhile options to consider and look into," Kin nods at Beth, "and tomorrow I will definitely put aside some time to double-check the premises for any other trace of such... unusual a toxin. In the short term, I think we should conduct a more thorough investigation of the body - ...

Re: 001: An Evening at the Feng-Huang's Feathers

"Thank you, Lord Williamson, in the morning will be fine; if you choose to stay here I'll have Mr. Saunders prepare a place for you to stay for the night." * * This is likely to be the tea ceremony room; the Feng-Huang's Feathers is not an inn... but this is also probably not the first ti...
