Thirwin's disjunction has dramatic and visible effects. The dragon flickers, suddenly shrinking down to half its prior size. Further, its skeletal nature is revealed to be at least partly illusory; much of the creature is still covered with decaying white scales; it more closely resembles a zombie than a skeleton.
It seems like just about everyone has the same idea: attack the dragon now while its defenses are down. Though the various attacks have widely varying levels of effect...
Sorgath lands several powerful hits with his scythe.
Kailyn (the unicorn) lands a single hit with his horn, backed by a burst of positive energy.
Aurora's energy blast has its normal effect; not the most visually impressive of attacks, perhaps, but certainly nothing to sneer at.
Stewart's disintegrate is only marginally effective.
And the dragon just ignores Gregor's fireball, and the attacks of the three followers of Marris, and the gnoll Eenyrl.
Luma and Ellenian hold back for the moment, apparently waiting to react to what the dragon does instead of immediately attacking.
The dragon, heavily wounded, lets out a terrible soul-shattering screech and then vanishes again. While most of the party is unaffected, Sorgath and the followers of Marris simply drop dead.
