"The same," Renny gets out as Trina disappears. Renny sits there blinking, then gives Ruben and Osmund a look of sheer surprise and confusion.

Osmund seems more confused by the social situation than the teleportation. "What should we do until she gets back?"

Renny is pretty clearly confused by both the social situation and the teleportation. I think she's been working on the theory that Trina was offering to teach Alys fortune telling via tarot cards. The discovery that Trina has apparently spent half the dinner trying to establish a magical picture for communicating with Alys's dog is clearly hurting Renny's head.

"Talk? Dance?"

[Ruben]

Ruben nods, barely able to summon a voice himself. Yes, let's ... step away.

He rises and holds out his right arm, bowed, to escort Renny to the dance floor.

Renny takes his arm gracefully, clearly grateful for the chance to do something she understands.
