Sometime in the 80's or 90's, superheroes were darker and edgier. Some of them, we'd like to forget. Some of them, are truly epic.

What kind of mistakes/edgier characters got their own miniseries during this time? Some are not nice and were thankfully forgettable, some became extremely popular. They probably like guns or blades, enjoy killing, tend to be lower powered so they can get into full on brawls... and well, you get the idea.

BTW, It's perfectly fine to just reply to this with some one-line zingers.
