Mio Sakura is a professor at HMTI, and teaches botany as well as some biology and chemistry. However as professor’s go, and people in general really, she looks very out of place. It’s not the way she dresses, in fact she dresses very much how one might expect from a professor. She wears a nice suit and skirt, looking very much a professional. It’s everything else that’s unusual. For starters her skin is heavily tattooed in tribal tattoos in shades of green and brown, and she has long light pink, almost white hair. Seemingly weaved into her hair are small flower blossoms that appear similar to that found on a Japanese cherry blossom tree. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of green, as lovely as the greenest emerald, and her ears seem to end in a slight point. If asked about her unusual appearance she’ll general smile and say: “We were all young once, and considering the tattoos aren’t going anywhere, I might as well enjoy the pink hair too. After all it is my favorite color.” Teaching, however, is not all she does at HMTI, like all teacher’s she’s continually a student and is currently working on getting her doctorate as well as taking an active role in the school’s research divisions, specializing in plant based chemicals and medicines. |

Mio Sakura is a Japanese Cherry Tree Dryad, imported from Japan, complete with tree. Tends to be fairly secretive about her actual nature, even among people who already know about magic. |
