The were-rat comes to, and immediately begins to struggle against its bonds. It takes it only a moment to realize that this activity is pointless, and it starts to blur and shift towards a smaller form. |

Aurora isn't one for killing for killing's sake, but she does have a short fuse. A ball of dull orange energy shoots towards the shifting were before he can fully shift and get away. |

The were-rat collapses, its struggles stopping instantly. Gradually it reverts back to a plain human corpse. |

Aurora growls at the two remaining weres and gestures twice. Two rat-fur cloaks, complete with head-like hoods, are roughly grabbed up from the ground and stuffed into Aurora's pack. The shield down in the pit had been cast instinctively, but the two polymorph spells had not and Aurora sways a bit as she stands back up. With a thought she taps into a reservoir of energy within that steadily undoes the damage, but her mood is sour as she flies back out of the basement and up to the window through which she came in. She swings open the shutters and makes her way back up to the roof. Pulling the stone from a pocket in her garb, Aurora speaks to it. "The wererats are taken care of and the construct is destroyed. Do you wish to have the remnants of the relic or should they be disposed of as scrap metal?" |

Null's voice emanates clearly from the stone. "You may dispose of the remains as you see fit. What form would you like payment in?" |

Null drifts silently into view, carrying a sack of coin almost as big as it is. "Here is your pay, then. I presume you wish to discuss further tasks once you have had a chance to rest?" |

"Aye, shall we set a contact time then?" Aurora asks, taking the proffered bag and dropping it into a side pouch of her pack. |

Null shrugs. "Whenever you like; even if I am otherwise occupied, this will not prevent me from conversing." |

Aurora gives Null a brisk nod and lifts off of the roof, heading back towards her room for a few hours' sleep. |
