The world is flat, and roughly rectangular. The long axis runs roughly east-north-east by west-south-west, or perhaps even closer to east-west than that. Most of civilization is in a (comparatively) small lump near the northern rim mountains, stretching southward along the rim of the great Circle Ocean.

Go too far east, and you hit the Wilds. Too far west, and the depths of the Circle Ocean consume all but the most hardy of mariners. South, and eventually you reach the jungle domain of the Hrassa Empire - and where they still hold power, intruders are strongly discouraged. Too far north, of course, and you fall off the edge of the world.

The sun still rises in the east and sets in the west, arcing across the sky by the will of Marris.

There are three moons.

Kellik glitters and sparkles, turquoise crystalline panes jumbled together, spines and spires stretching far out from the main mass.

Zaphrin is a fuzzy blue disk that glows with its own faint light. Patterns come and go on its surface, but are never the same twice.

Ashar is a tumbling near-black hulk, most easily spotted by the stars it occludes. It is, however, at least somewhat translucent - since it glows brilliant purple when it eclipses the sun every few hundred years.

Many theorists claim that adamantite, a greenish metal common only in meteors, is the remains of a fourth moon - destroyed by the titans at some point in the distant past.

The Wilds are areas that have not yet been reclaimed since the cataclysm that ended the third age. Ancient magics still run rampant from that time, and many an adventurer has returned with tales of mountains of water or fire, or clouds that drift across the land turning all living things beneath them into chickens.

Of course, great rewards wait for those willing to brave the dangers of carnivorous geology and chaotic magics, for the Wilds contain plentiful ruins and relics. Tired of finding that the dungeon you're exploring has already been picked clean? Go visit the Wilds!*

...So I was staring at this, and suddenly realized it'd make so much more sense to swap the colors of Ashar and Kellik. (This change has been edited in.)

This has one notable in-game effect: The artifact chunk that was originally Taingrethylmune's phylactery (a lump of asharite about the size of a fist) is now, rather than being a dangerous contact poison, is something more akin to a universal solvent in solid form; stuff that comes into contact with it has a tendency to just dissolve. This is less dangerous - picking it up will just take off your hand rather than kill you outright - but more annoying, as it's rather difficult to contain it without it melting through whatever you put it in. I will assume that this problem has, for the moment, been resolved.
