(OCC: I am going to skip over the second and third Veils in this thread. The GM and I have talked and we agreed the last two don't bring any major new insights, so we'll just keep the thread moving along for now.)

Harrune continues his Pattern walk, and to those on the outside nothing more of note occurs. When he reaches the center he will spend some time staring off into infinity. After a brief time he vanishes from the center and appears near (but out of weapon's reach of, just to play it safe) the other Amberites. He is clearly very weary, but to the "ready to fall over at any minute" level.

"Well, that was an interesting experience. Have any of you had an unexpected visitor while walking the Pattern? I have not heard of such a thing before. Dworkin, I would very much like to speak with you about that when we have the time."

He turns to face the newcomer and bows. "I believe that congratulations and welcome are in order. I am Harrune Tharassa Tyrnath Reran of the Court of Tir-Na Nog'th. Well technically of all four Courts now, but primarily Tir-Na Nog'th. I know that all of this can be overwhelming at first, and some times even after that, so take your time. If I can help, please ask and I will do what I can...or direct you someone better suited to help."

Dworkin will lift an eyebrow at Jaeger... "I suppose the trump is dangerous, but it is less than the other power you wield." That seems to be enough of an answer for Dworkin...
To Harrune, he will nod. "That... should not have been possible. There is nothing between the lines of Pattern. Perhaps that's the problem. It is a discussion for private."

Nearby, Quin, the court jester, has walked up. "I seem to be late. Still, Dworkin, you asked me to remind you of the time.*"

"And which one would that be, Crypto the Infuratingly Vague? The shapeshifting? Extensive combat training? The ambiguity is killing me he-" Jaeger paused, looking over to Harrune and listening to his introduction. If Harrune was watching him while he spoke he would have seen Jaeger counting out on his hands the number of syllables in his name. What in the name of the eight-million gods was with this place and insanely long names? How did anything get done in the courts if announcements took this long? There were at least ten syllables in that guy's name. Ten. The male sighed tiredly, he had a new record.

"Jaeger, presumably of one of the courts. I don't know how I feel about introducing myself while covered in gore, especially given how grandiose this is becoming." He looked back toward Alys and Lyra for a moment, motioning to his appearance. "Any chance a guy could get a bath, maybe his armor cleaned while he's at it, at some point in the near future? It's starting to feel a bit off-putting."

Alys laughs. "There is a hot springs not that far from here; I can show you the way if you would like."*

_____
* Given Alys' general dislike of water, it's a safe guess from anyone else in the scene that she has some ulterior motive here. Perhaps just to parade Jaeger through Ht'gon while he's still covered in gore so that people know the newest arrival is not someone to be trifled with? Perhaps she has other plans.

"That sounds incredible. The sooner I can get all this off me and take a second, the better.*" Jaeger snorted, letting out a mildly irritated sound.

_______________
* Given his current temperament and snippiness, this is probably going to make a big** difference.
** Literally the difference between an enraged Pomeranian and a slightly indifferent but sociable Malamute.

Alys nods - and then turns towards Dworkin and Quin, taking a few steps towards the Pattern. "Just as a note..." and then, her head tilted so no one other than those two can see*, she uses shapeshifting to form written words across her face: "Ask Osmund** about 'it's probably Nothing'." At the same time, she continues the sentence, "...I would like to be kept informed of what you find about Dal'ishi."

Then she turns again to escort Jaeger out of the room, one hand on his shoulder.*** "The springs are this way..."

_____
* And also arranged so that someone observing from the direction of the Pattern wouldn't be able to see, either. Dal'ishi may no longer be visible, and may not have been able to see out in the first place, but Alys is taking no chances here.
** I believe Cameron's player is taking a break from the game, otherwise I would have put Cameron's name there instead of Osmund - Alys would prefer to have an actual Amberite present for the discussion she's prompting. Perhaps Harrune will follow along?
*** Yes, his shoulder is coated in owlbear blood and bits. She doesn't seem to even notice, let alone care.
† Lyra and Quin are, of course, welcome to follow along; I presume that Morgana, Harrune, and Dworkin will all have other matters to attend to.

Dworkin will bow out... although, he is willing to set up a time to talk with anyone who wants to do so*.

Quin will head off after Jaeger and Alys, possibly to deliver a trump deck and actually answer questions. Although, if Harrune needs him, he can stay.

Morgana will nod to Harrune... "That's all four, isn't it? I look forward to comparing notes. If you wish, I can send a missive to you once I'm sure there will be no further repercussions. I do regret the assassination attempt and will do what I can to make sure it does not happen again."

Lyra excuses herself for a moment and walks over to Harrune to offer her congratulations to him as well. "I'm glad you made it through safe. I was worried for a moment there." With a glance back to Jaeger, she continues "Sounds like Alys has got this but I'll go with them and make sure he gets settled in and oriented." She gives the Cani a brief hug, commenting "Perhaps we can find some time to spar in the future, if you felt so inclined."

Not necessarily expecting a reply, she will nod to Morgana and head off with Alys and Jaeger* to the Springs.

Harrune will take a moment to schedule a time to talk to Dworkin. He makes no attempt to stop Quin.

He smiles tiredly to Morgana. "Yes, that is all four. I'll need some time to ponder, but I would very much like to compare notes. When there will be no further repercussions? I would prefer not to wait a century or two. Perhaps when there are no obvious, dire repercussions? Things should mostly settle down once people realize that this changes very little in a practical sense."

Harrune returns Lyra's hug. "Thank you. It was a unique experience...as was sparring with you. I would like to see how we do in a less constrained situation. That will have to wait though. I agree that our new brother needs you more at the moment. If there is anything I can do to help, please send for me."

He turns to face Morgana and the other members of the Court. "If you have no further business for me I would ask leave to depart."*

-----
*Yes, he's being a bit formal to remind everyone that he still recognizes Morgana authority.

Morgana will nod... and I think everyone goes their separate ways.
